The Michelago Region is the gateway to the Monaro Valley, which stretches from the south of Canberra to the Victorian Border, alongside the magnificent Snowy Mountains to the west and the coastal escarpment to the east.

It is an area of amazing history, spectacular scenery, national parks and reserves, the headwaters of the mighty Murrumbidgee River, great food growing, and warm friendly people – even on the coldest and foggiest of days!

Come and visit us, stay with us, perhaps even live with us, and enjoy what this beautiful part of the world has to offer.

Help make a difference in the Michelago community

Join the Michelago Region Community Association. Vote for a new President, Secretary and Treasurer at the Annual General Meeting on Saturday 27 July at 3 pm at the Michelago Railway Station. All committee positions will be open – please consider standing.

The new committee will be able to decide the priorities of the association in the future.

Just fill in our membership form and email to mrca@michelagoregion.org.au or join up at the AGM. It only costs $10 to $15 per year.

You may know that MRCA has been maintaining the Michelago Railway Station and has raised funding through grants and events to keep it looking good.

Recently MRCA raised grant money to build the BBQ facilities at the Michelago oval.

The Tennis Clubhouse was renovated and extended by the MRCA and tennis courts installed some years ago.
