Deane's School Buses

Deane's Buslines runs regular school buses to and from the Michelago area.

Mobile Library

The Cooma Mobile Library visits the village on every second Monday. 

The mobile library stops at the school from 9:45am to 11:00am.

Our local hairdresser is usually available on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at the Michelago General Store from 10am onwards.

Rubbish Collection

Household rubbish and recycling collection is available every Saturday from 8am to 10am opposite the Michelago Rural Fire Station located in the village.

From 6 July 2013 the Council will be trialling extended operating hours from 8am to 11am.

Bredbo has a transfer station availble for local residents to dispose of larger items. Times and fees are available from the Cooma-Monaro Council web site.

The Michelago Region Community Association (MRCA) represents our local community and is actively involved in the progress of Michelago as it grows and improves. To continue our work, we need your support, so please consider joining. 

The subscription for 2016 is $10 per person or $15 per family.

MRCA Meetings

MRCA meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month from 7.00pm at the Michelago Railway Station. All welcome to meet with the committee and have your say.
